How do I reserve my wedding day?
All that's needed to reserve your wedding day is a non refundable deposit of £100 at the time of booking.
Can I add albums at a later date?
Yes, an album can be designed and made for you up to 24 months after your wedding, please contact me for a list of prices.
Can we have formal and informal photos?
Absolutely. I will take hundreds of candid photos throughout the day and I can cater for any formal/posed group photos you require.
Do I need to give you a long list of photos that I want?
Not normally, but this might be useful if there are any out-of-the-ordinary photos you'd like.
How long before the photos are ready?
The first set of images you will receive on DVD stick usually takes two weeks. Once you've decided which photos you'd like in your album (should you choose one) the final production usually takes a further two weeks.
Can I have a bigger album?
Certainly, as standard there are two sizes of Traditional Album to choose from and Digital Storybook albums can be increased both in size and in number of photos used. However, if there’s something you would like which isn’t listed like a much larger album with many more pages, prices can be agreed separately.
Do you use film?
No, all of the cameras I use are professional digital SLRs. This means that I can instantly see the photos that I've taken to check everything is perfect. Using digital also means I can take potentially thousands of photographs of your big day. Digital photographs are also easily edited to suit any particular tastes you may have for your photos. Using the latest digital camera technology also enables me to capture images in very low light without using flash, therefore being as unobtrusive as possible.
Why would we want a second photographer?
The simple answer is a second photographer means more photos to choose from. The slightly longer answer is that a second photographer will capture all those magical moments and reactions whilst the main photos are being taken. Whilst everyone's attention may be drawn to one event, a second photographer could capture everyone's reactions to the event, while the main photographer captures the moment itself.
How much input do I have with the photos in the album?
For a tradition album package you get to choose which images are used. For a digital album package, Lee will prepare the initial layout which you can then look over and change as you wish. This doesn’t mean that you can’t change everything and start from fresh, but Lee has great experience making these albums and generally has a good idea as to how they look best.
How can we pay?
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer. If you wish to pay by cheque you must do so 5 working days before receiving your photos.
Can we pay in instalments?
Yes, however the final payment must still be made when you receive your photos.
What happens if you’re ill?
It's not happened yet, but if i'm feeling slightly under the weather I'll bring an associate photographer with me, free of charge, to ensure between us we still capture all those wonderful moments.
Can we have black and white images?
Absolutely. You can have a full colour album, all black and white, or a mixture of the two. Also, some more artistic options are available - any images that are edited will be included on your image disc. If you're having the Images Only Package, you will still receive colour, black and white and any artistic images.
Can I get copies of photos for my friends?
Yes. I can have images printed for you and even strut mounted if you require. With your image disc you are free to print images as you please. There are also other options available including box mounted prints, canvas prints and other wall mounting options too. A full price list is being prepared and will be available for download soon.
