Wood Norton Weddings

Pages 4 and 5 of Alison and Nick's wedding album features a spread of bridal detail type images. On the left-most position on the left page is a photo of the bride's wedding dress.

Amazingly, the bride had had a wedding dress for the 12 months before the wedding, but had changed her mind about it with only 5 days to go. Without telling anyone she snuck out of the house in the week before the wedding to go dress shopping and this is what she came back with. The dress was an off-the-shoulder number in irony, sleeveless with a 3/4 length train and open back. I am told it's very different in design to what she originally had purchased for the wedding.

The remaining two images on this double page spread show the wedding shoes. Alison's shows were open-toed wedding shoes, with silver sides and irony linen tops to match the wedding dress. The shoes also featured an ivory bow. For these photos I had placed the shoes on a mirror which I found in the brides dressing room at the Wood Norton. I then used an 85mm lens which was a long enough focal length to allow to me get the shoes to completely fill the frame whilst at the same time being able to keep the edges of the mirror out of the shot.
