Birtsmorton Court weddings

The left hand image of the left page shows the immediate follow up image to the previous page of this wedding album. I absolutely adore how the young flower girl is giving the bride and groom the thumbs up!

For the confetti photo, I made sure that all of the wedding guest had left the church and were ready with confetti in hand before I got the bride and groom to walk down the alley of people that had formed outside. The sunlight was perfect for these pictures, falling on the back of the bride and groom which is very flattering, but also helping to pick the confetti out of the background.

Once the confetti picture was complete, we moved onto the terrace that's inside Birtsmorton Court and forms part of the original house, directly overlooking the moat. There's a luscious green lawn as well as a stone flagged area, and this secluded spot is great for smaller formal photos. You're able to take photos with the sun behind the people in the images, as well as the moat, lake and trees that are an excellent backing for these photos.

In order to better utilise the space on the right page, I included the parents of the bride and groom photo as portrait images, whereas they had originally been taken in landscape format.

The background image used here was a test photo that I took immediately before starting the group photos that you see on the right hand page. I think the sky blue really works well here, and offsets the green of the grass and the colour of the bridesmaid's dresses wonderfully.

Location: Birtsmorton Court, Worcestershire.
