These two pages from Kevan and Deborah's wedding album show the speeches of the groom and the best man, as well as some of the reactions from various people to the things being said.
The permanent marquee that Birtsmorton Court use for their wedding receptions has windows all along one side which means there's plenty of natural, even light, which is exactly what's needed for photos of the speeches. It's usually bright enough in the marquee that you don't need to use flash, which means the photos appear as natural as possible.
I love the look on Deborah's face on the left page of this spread, as she shows such a wide range of emotions. In the top left image she's showing a look of pure happiness, with a big beaming smile being given to her husband. In the next image to the right, Deborah is laughing happily at something that Kevan has said, which is followed by a look of absolute love and adoration in the next photo (bottom left of the page.) I really like how Kevan has placed a hand on his wife's shoulder, and she's reached up to hold his had and offer reassurance. Given the look on the groom's face, I'd say that he was speaking about something close to his heart at the time, and perhaps he was struggling to get his words out whilst keeping his composure.
The right page shows the reactions to the best man's speech, which was clearly hilarious for the most part, and embarrassing enough for the groom to make him plunge his head into his hands!
