Manor by the Lake Wedding Album Pages 6 & 7
Wedding Photography by Lee Webb

Manor by the Lake Wedding Cheltenham

These pages show the groom, Will, his best man, ushers and bride's father all shooting pool and enjoying themselves in the venue's Rock Bar, a subterranean 'man cave' that's ideal for relaxing in before your wedding.

The great thing about Manor by the Lake, is that the venue allows for both the bride and bridal party, and the groom and groomsmen to get ready all at the same location. This means that on my own, I'm able to photograph both sides as it were. Usually, if the bride is getting ready at the venue and the groom getting ready at home, I'm only able to photography the groomsmen once they arrive at the venue (unless of course one of my associate photographers is with them in the morning instead)

For the background image on the left page, I used a photo that I'd taken of the bride's ring, still in it's box that I had placed on the pool table, being quite incredibly careful not to lose the ring down one of the pockets (ask me about one of my friends who lost a wedding album in a log and had to have it removed with the help of a chainsaw an hour before the wedding!)

The right hand image shows a groom favourite - the so called 'Reservoir Dogs' image. Named after the infamous opening of Quentin Tarantino's gangster epic. If you want you and your ushers or groomsmen to look cool, this is definitely the image for you, made even cooler by the conversion to black and white. I love how every man in this photo has a different expression on their face.
