Karl is the commanding officer of 187 (City of Worcester) Squadron Air Training Corps, and as a special surprise on his wedding day, I had organised with some of the cadets a guard of honour. Karl had no idea that this was happening, and one of the cadets who was invited to the wedding (and not wearing uniform) crept out which the pride and groom were signing the register, to position the other cadets who were waiting patiently.

As soon as Karl and Beccy exited the church after the service, they were faced with a view of the 8 or so cadets who had turned up and formed a guard of honour. Karl was visibly emotional. Karl paused in the door way, and turned his head as not to show his cadets his true reaction. All of the guests commented on how smartly turned out the cadets were, and it was a lovely touch.

The right page of this spread shows the bride and groom meeting and greeting some of their guests immediately after the service. I really love the bride's reaction to some of the people she's talking to, especially in the photo where he arms are spread wide, about to embrace a wedding guest in a massive hug!
