To be honest I'm not really sure of the point of wedding favours. Modern weddings are so expensive, with the average couple spending north of £24,000 these days. You can reasonably expect to pay £80-£100 per guest on catering along. On top of that, for reasons beyond my knowledge, you're expected to then give them a gift for coming too! As if spending £100 on them being there wasn't enough in the first place! Wedding favours come in all shapes, sizes and varieties, with some costing a lot and some costing a little. It's not uncommon for people to do something that's personal to them - small bottles of whisky if the family is Scottish or Irish, or homemade jams if that's something the families enjoy making. Here, Emma and Chris decided to go with the LoveHearts option - it's possible now for these to be personalised, too.
