This photo, taken early in the morning, shows the mother of the bride smiling whilst having her makeup applied. For Chris and Emma's wedding at Bredenbury Court, the preparations started in the East Lodge Chalets which are on site. This is the perfect place for a bridal party to get ready on their morning of the wedding, with the groomsmen often using the West Lodge, which, as the names suggest, are at opposite ends of the venue. The makeup artist on the day set themselves up in front of a large window which meant that the photos of makeup being applied just looked awesome. There's nothing better than a large source of natural light, and a background that's slightly darker. It really helps your subject to stand out.
