Getting ready at Bredenbury Court Barns

The bridal party move into the Bridal Suite at Bredenbury Court Barns

To allow the venue to get ready for the wedding without too many people being in the way, and to allow the bridal party peace in the morning (and a lay in bed if such a thing exists before a wedding!) the bridal party are usually housed in the East Lodge which is on the site of the venue. At 11am, the bridal party gain access to the Bridal Suite, a custom designed room that's perfect for the purpose of allowing a bride tribe to get ready before the wedding ceremony. The room has natural light coming in from two sides, a mirror that's the width of the room, and more power points than I care to count. There's always an interesting moment when 11am comes, and everyone has to pack up and move into the bridal room. In winter months, most bridal parties tend to pack their things into their cars and drive the 150m around the side of the venue. In summer however, a lot of brides and bridesmaids choose to take a short walk around the venue (assuming the groomsmen are hidden away somewhere) and manoeuvring a wedding dress in a light wind is always entertaining to watch and fun to photograph!
