As previously discussed, men really struggle to get themselves ready on their own. It's probably the reason why some grooms insist on having so many groomsmen. One day I'll meet a groom who is able to tie his own tie, do his own pocket square, put his own cufflinks in and then I'd die of shock if they know how to put a buttonhole flower on. Anyway, ranting over - this image shows Chris and his batsman (I actually typed 'best man' but Google auto-corrected that to batsman, which is also the correct terminology) struggling with cufflinks. There are some moments that happen at weddings really quickly, and you almost need people to slow down or repeat certain actions. Not with cufflinks. You've got a good 5 to 10 minutes before they figure it out.
