Wedding day sweet stands and sweet carts have become massively popular over the last couple of years. There are now many wedding suppliers who specialise in providing not only the sweet cart or stands themselves, but the sweets to go in/on them. I assume that these things were usually envisioned as being for children, but like most things, it's actually the adults who seem to have the most fun, especially when the sweets that are on offer take them back to their childhoods - things like sherbet dips and space invaders! Sweet carts are usually so popular that, whilst they're meant to be consumed in the evening as part of the wedding reception, many guests will be seen sneaking goodies away for themselves throughout the day. Probably ruining their dinners like their parents always warned.
