Manor by the Lake Wedding Album Pages 18 & 19

Manor by the Lake Cheltenham

On these two pages, we see the throwing off the confetti and the big group wedding photo with all of the wedding guests.

On the previous page, the bride and groom could be seen walking from the ceremony back down the main path that links the front lawn with the Manor House.

The bride and groom were ushered inside whilst the rest of the wedding guests made their way back to the front of the building. Whilst the bride and groom were inside enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, I was busy organising the confetti photo outside. The set up was really easy - two lines of people, one either side of the door, creating a virtual aisle of guests. The instructions were simple - as soon as the bride and groom walk past, let them have it!

I chose to take the group photo straight away and seize upon the opportunity of having all of the wedding guests in the same place at the same time. I stood the bride, groom, groomsmen and bridesmaids together on the front row and moved the parents forwards too, before running upstairs into one of the suites to utilise a balcony. Having an elevated viewpoint makes taking large group photos a breeze. If all of the wedding guests were stood together, they could only be two of three guests deep before you start losing the ability to see everyone. This way, you can have guests go back as far as they need to in order to get everyone in the shot - in this photo, guests are 7 or 8 rows deep.
