Stanbrook Abbey Weddings

Stanbrook Abbey is one of my favourite Worcestershire wedding venues. For centuries it was the home of nuns, hence the name Stanbrook 'Abbey'

The nuns left some years ago, after which, the venue was purchased by a hotel chain and slowly but surely transformed into an amazing wedding venue. Stanbrook Abbey, as well as having acres of grounds to explore, has hundreds of bedrooms which were renovated one by one. At the time of writing, they're just putting finishing touches to the final rooms.

This image was taken in the Brides Manor, a link detached Manor House that sleeps up to 14 people. It's the ideal location to get ready on the morning of your wedding, as there's ample space for all of your friends and family.

This is where the bride and the bridesmaids decided to get ready on the morning of the wedding.

At the top of the ornate staircase is a wardrobe with a ornate mirrored upper surface. The mirror is old and worn and has a lovely patina to it, which really adds character to any detail shots you use it for. Here you see where I have placed the bride's wedding shoes on the wardrobe for some photos.
