Anna and Mark got married at St Peters church in Kinver and had their wedding reception at Deer Park Hall in Worcestershire.
Deer Park Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues, at which I have been a recommended wedding photographer for the last 6 years.
The venue itself sits in miles of rolling countryside, and benefits from unprecedented photos over the entire county of Worcestershire, to the Malvern hills some 13 miles in the distance.
In this wedding photo, you can see the views that Deer Park offers from the Lambs Leap Lawn, a huge space that's perfect for your drinks reception, as well as any formal wedding photos that you might have.
The positioning of the venue couldn't be better - on bright and sunny days, it's important that the sun is behind the subject in the photos, otherwise you run the risk of having long shadows drawn across people's faces, or even worse - people squinting in photos. Deer Park allows you to capture formal photos with the Malvern Hills and Worcestershire countryside in the background, whether the sun is shining or not. For Anna and Mark's wedding however this consideration never came into play, as the bright sun was diffused by a light layer of cloud.
