The Cotford in Malvern is a beautiful Gothic Victorian style hotel and award winning restaurant. The venue has stunning landscaped gardens (also award winning) and sits in the foothills of the picturesque Malvern Hills.
The Cotford Hotel was built in 1851 as a summer residence for the Bishop of Worcester. Many of the original details of the original building are still present and visible throughout the Hotel. The room that used to be the Bishop's private chapel now hosts a fantastic restaurant named L’amuse-Bouche. I've had the pleasure of eating here and the food is out of this world! Since my last visit, the Cotford Hotel restaurant has made it's way into the Michelin guide. On top of all of this. the restaurant won the prestigious 'Worcestershire Restaurant of the Year' for both 2016 and 2017.
Phil and Francey got married at Malvern Registry Office on a glorious day. We stayed in the Malvern Winter Gardens for a short while in order to take some family photos, before moving on to the Cotford Hotel for their wedding reception. After the meal, we took a little time out of their day to take some photos of the bride and groom in the hotel's charming gardens. The gardens provided ample opportunities for wedding photos. Due to the extremely bright sun on the wedding day, I used a little bit of fill flash to help lift the shadows, giving this image the vibrant appearance you see here.
